Bill Andrews - President and CEO, Exagrid

Bill Andrews has over 20 years experience in high-tech marketing and has led numerous teams in high-growth companies. Bill is currently President and CEO of ExaGrid Systems. Prior to ExaGrid, Bill was the vice president of marketing for Pedestal Software. Pedestal quickly became a leader in the security auditing space. Pedestal was acquired by Altiris, a public company.

Before joining Pedestal Software, Bill was the senior vice president of marketing and sales for eDial, a developer of Voice over IP (VoIP) software. Prior to eDial, Bill was general manager of Adero's streaming media business unit. Bill came to Adero via Adero's acquisition of StarBurst. At StarBurst, Bill served as vice president of marketing and sales. Bill also held vice president of marketing and vice president of sales positions at Live Vault, Microcom and Bitstream. Earlier in his career, Bill held a series of marketing and sales roles at Data General and Compugraphic. He is a graduate of Fitchburg State College and holds a BS in Industrial Technology.

Robert E. Davoli - Managing Director, Sigma Partners

Bob joined Sigma Partners in 1995 and has 27 years of experience in the high technology industry. His ability to identify and motivate innovative founding teams has been an essential ingredient of his investment success. Bob regularly leverages his deep operational experience and technology intellect to support the firm’s portfolio companies.

In the past, Bob was President & CEO of Epoch Systems, the leading vendor of client-server data management software products. He sold the firm in 1993 to EMC for $141 million. Previously, he was the Founder, President and CEO of SQLSolutions, a leading purveyor of services and tools for the relational database market. Bob sold SQL Solutions to Sybase for stock eventually worth over $100 million. Bob served as an executive officer of Sybase for over two years.

In recent years, Bob has appeared three times on the Forbes’ Midas list, a ranking of top venture capitalists. He also appeared on the cover of Business Week in a features story describing how VCs thrive through good and tough times.

Jo Tango - General Partner, Kepha Partners

Jo Tango is the founder of Kepha Partners. He has invested in the e-commerce, search engine, Internet ad network, wireless, supply chain software, storage, database, security, on-line payments and data center virtualization spaces. He has been a founding or first institutional investor in AutoVirt, Azuki Systems, Bit9, ByLedge, ExaGrid, StreamBase Systems, Vertica Systems, and Virtual Iron, getting involved nearly always at the company inception phase. Other investments include Ask Jeeves (Nasdaq: ASKJ), Digital Market (acquired by Agile Software), and NextCard (Nasdaq: NXCD).

Jo previously was at Highland Capital Partners for nearly 9 years, where he was a General Partner. He also spent five years with Bain & Company, where he was based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Boston, and focused on technology and start-up projects.

Jo attended Yale University (B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and Harvard Business School (M.B.A., Baker Scholar). He serves on the board of NECINA (New England Chinese Information and Network Association) and is very active with the MIT Deshpande Center.
