Windows C# Senior Software Engineer

AutoVirt, Inc. has an opening for a Software Engineer with NAS expertise for our exciting Windows-based system application. AutoVirt is an early stage, high energy start-up seeking the very best, innovative, software engineers. We are looking for talented, motivated developers with a range of talents and experience.
Description of duties:
• Write the Design Specification, code, test and document.
• Develop software under the direction of the lead architect as required.
• Design for test, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
Profile of Candidate:
• BSCS/BSEE minimum, MSCS preferred, other degrees with experience may
be considered.
• 4+ years technical experience preferred.
• Practical experience with many of the following:
o C# or Java background.
o C/C++ programming.
o .NET environment.
o Solid Microsoft Visual Studio-based coding and debugging techniques.
o NetApp and/or EMC Celerra NAS filer experience at the system
management or API level.
o Knowledge of CIFS protocol.
o Knowledge of Active Directory and DNS operations.
o Software experience at the Windows file system level.
o Win32 API knowledge.
No travel required.

Windows Test Automation Software Engineer

AutoVirt has a Test Automation opening for a Software Engineer. We believe that Test Automation is Development: we expect an attitude of equality, excellence and collaboration. The system under test is complex with multiple components, and high-availability requirements.
Description of duties:
• This candidate must be interested in analyzing for test, writing automated
tests at multiple application layers, and writing test tools.
• Should have knowledge of or experience with mocks, dependency
injection, continuous integration, unit test frameworks, coverage
analysis, and virtual machines.
• This is a software startup. You must be self-starting on tasks,
expect to learn new technologies on your own, handle
ambiguity well, and work within a fast-moving team.
