AUTOVIRT NAMES ED SPIES VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

Will Help Company Meet Its Goal to Deliver Sophisticated, Yet Easy to Use and Affordable, Data Migration Solutions for Mid-Range Customers

Nashua, NH (November 3, 2008) – AutoVirt, Inc., the emerging leader in fully automated online data migration solutions for mid-range Windows environments, today announced that it has named Ed Spies, Vice President of Finance.  Spies, who brings over 15 years of successful business, financial management, and accounting experience to the newly created position, will be responsible for all aspects of AutoVirt’s financial management, administrative, and legal operations.  He will report directly to Klavs Landberg, AutoVirt Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  

Prior to joining AutoVirt, Spies served as Vice President of Finance at Idiom Technologies, where he played a key role in helping to lead the company’s successful sale to SDL Plc.  Previously, Spies held senior executive financial management positions with River Ridge Consulting and Books24x7.  He began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Spies is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BSBA from Clarkson University as well as, an MBA and MS in Accounting from Northeastern University.
